Every search engines have different way of working and different results are also shown. Yahoo, Bing, Duckduckgo are some of the popular search engine including Google. As example- Duckduckgo shows same result for everyone whether you are in Ethiopia or, USA. But, Google shows different results in different countries depending on their choices.

Two Important Parts of SEO

Seo has two important parts. To increase the position of a web page on search result, you have to fulfill their expectation/requirement properly. Some task you need to do inside your webpage and some task you need to do outside your website. Two types are-

• On page search engine optimization
• Off page search engine optimization

Both of the parts are important to increase search result. The first one indicates keywords, adding site on search engine directory, creating sitemap, creating robot.txt file etc. The latter part includes creating quality backlinks, building target visitors for social sites and lot more.

Two Types of SEO

We have mentioned before that search engine use algorithms. You can try to make search engine fool and increase your site result. The two types are-

• White Hat SEO
• Black Hat SEO

White hat indicates something that is legal and Black hat is illegal. They way search engine try to show their result, the way they want to fulfill their requirement is white hat seo. If you think you are clever enough to make it otherwise you can try black hat SEO.

These are the basic ideas of SEO. We will discuss briefly later on particular topics. I personally recommend you to try white hat SEO to increase search position. It will help you in the long run and it will be permanent, risk free SEO. We will discuss here only white hat SEO.
